Pterosaurs were not dinosaurs, but rather flying reptiles. They had large membranous wings with large jaws sometimes lined with teeth for catching fish. They ranged in size from 25 cm (Pterodactylus) to 11-12 meters (36-39ft) (Quetzalcoatlus). Some may have even been 'warm-blooded' and covered in fur.
