Dinosaurs

Overview

Dinosaurs are a now extinct clade of reptiles, except for their feathered bird descendants. Their reign lasted from the Triassic to Cretaceous Periods (250-66 million years ago) and ended with the K-T mass extinction. Late Cretaceous dinosaurs were by far the most diverse and included well-known representatives such as T-rex, velociraptor, and triceratops.
