Holotype: “is Stoliczka’s original specimen (1865 pl. 75, fig. 1)” (Kennedy and Cobban, 1990a, p. 85).

Type locality: South India (Kennedy and Cobban, 1990a).

Type horizon: Utatur Group (Kennedy and Cobban, 1990a).

Other specimens: USNM 420184.

WIS occurrences:

Cenomanian: Lake Waco Formation (Bluebonnet Member) (TX) (Kennedy and Cobban, 1990a).
